100S and 100R: the important distinction
The 100S specification sheet says single-fiber splicing. Dual fiber loading refers to preparing the opposing fiber ends; it does not establish simultaneous ribbon splicing. Fujikura’s 100R4, 100R12 and 100R16 are separate mass-fusion configurations.
Build a useful demonstration
- Use your actual fibers and connector work. Confirm the required holders, cleaver, sleeves and selected splice modes.
- Check whether the quoted kit includes the CT60 cleaver and which accessories require separate ordering.
